About the Event

Endometriosis is a chronic, systemic, inflammatory condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows elsewhere around the body causing debilitating symptoms.  Endometriosis is a complex disease (it's not just about bad periods!) which impacts quality of life and is difficult to diagnose (it takes, on average, 8 years and 10 months to diagnose). HiD has many members with multiple conditions, some overlap, and we understand symptoms can be difficult to distinguish from others and are often missed. We believe in supporting and developing awareness and understanding for the hidden disability community. We are inviting you to come along to our webinar, learn about something that may affect you, a friend or a loved one, You can email us questions beforehand or ask on the day.
