Film Club - Emma 12.30-1.30pm

Watch one or all of the variations of Jane Austens 'Emma'. We will have fun discussing the iconic scenes and mistakes she makes. This is a popular much loved story so if you have never seen it you are in for a treat! 

Orginally set in England in the early 19th century the novel centres on Emma Woodhouse, a precocious young women whose misplaced confidence in her matchmaking abilities occashions several romantic misadverntures.

Did you know that the 1995 American coming-of-age teen comedy 'Clueless' was based on 'Emma'? There are some interesting adaptions for you to explore.

We will send the zoom link a couple of days before the event.

We don't care if you are in your PJ's or bed, with your cup of coco and sandwhich in hand. This is an easy, relaxed bit of fun and an excuse for us to watch some good feel good movies and meet with like minded friendly folk to exchange our thoughts.
